At Thread Lab, we are committed to ensuring your orders are processed and shipped efficiently. Below are the details regarding our shipping process, including rates, carriers, estimated delivery times, and customer responsibilities.

1. Shipping Rates & Carriers

Domestic Shipping: We offer a variety of shipping options within Canada. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of your order. 

International Shipping: We are proud to offer international shipping to select countries. Shipping rates and delivery times will vary based on the destination. International shipping rates will be calculated at checkout based on your location.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

Processing Time: All orders are typically processed within 5 - 10 business days. Custom orders may require additional time based on the complexity of the design. You will be notified of the expected processing time when your order is placed.

Shipping Time: Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected at checkout and your location. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

1 - 10 business days within Canada.

3 - 12 business days within USA

5 - 30 business days Internationally 

Please note that these are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as weather, holidays, or carrier delays.

3. Address Verification and Corrections

Address Accuracy: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate and complete. Please double-check your address before submitting your order. We are not responsible for delays or lost packages caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Address Changes: If you need to correct your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible at asktreadlab@gmail.com. We will do our best to accommodate the change, but once an order has been processed or shipped, we may not be able to make corrections.

4. Shipping Delays

While we make every effort to ensure timely shipping, please be aware that delays can occur due to factors such as:

Carrier issues (e.g., high shipping volumes, weather delays)

Custom or import processing for international shipments

National holidays or events

If a significant delay occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible. Please note that we are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier or external factors.

5. Shipping Issues

If you experience any issues with your shipment, such as damage or non-receipt of your package, please follow these steps:

Damage During Shipping: If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos of the damaged product and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

Lost Packages: If your package is lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible. We will help investigate the issue with the carrier and provide assistance with filing claims, if necessary. Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as "delivered" by the carrier.

6. Customer Responsibility for Customs & Import Fees

For international orders, you are responsible for any customs, import duties, and taxes that may be applied by your country’s government. These charges are not included in the price of the product or the shipping cost, and are the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office for more information regarding these fees.
